Black the Light

Here’s a photo of “Black the Light” out of the plastic wrapper and sat on the ledge at Metamorphosis Gallery in a different light.

I took other shots trying to zoom in on just the art, but something about the white around it feels good, a more natural way of looking at something as nothing is isolated in life. We may zone in on things, but first glance takes in the bigger picture.

Quick snap with a cell phone camera to share how “Chasing Yellow” pops with an earthy forestry green mat in a 20×24 inch black frame.

The colors are slightly off… like the mat is one solid color, does not fade to black as it seems to do in this photo. As they say, it looks better in person.
