Time to switch gears, both on paper and in my head, so this is the last of drawing in colored pencil over watercolors for awhile. I was working on one of the two sheets prepped the other day when it hit me. I didn’t want to finish the whole thing. So I chopped off a 5×7 corner and the rest can be stashed for another day. Straight up, I miss coloring on my favorite oh so fabulously rich and smooth 100% cotton hot pressed paper. In comparison, this slightly textured watercolor paper sucks. Not everyday. It is a good paper. It’s just not my favorite.
Hopefully, the attached photo uploads in a vertical orientation. I’m blogging by email via cell phone using the camera on the phone to snap pictures. The last one that slid in sideways looked upright in the phone gallery so I’m not sure which way is up.
Right now, the only way I can upload a photo is via email by cellphone. I don’t even have wifi out here so using the wordpress app is not an option. Thanks for tolerating my occassional blunders and thanks for visiting my blog.
