Thirteen for 2013

I have been mulling this over for awhile. This year, 2013, feels like an in-between year. It is a year to prepare for something to come, even though what is coming is not yet revealed. That is just a vibe and I don’t know why… maybe it has something to do with the number 13 and the way some tall buildings will omit that floor.

I’m not one for making (breaking) New Year’s Resolutions, so this list of things that I need to work on in 2013 so as not to waste this in-between year by just hanging out in limbo until next year arrives.

My list consists of more projects than resolutions for self-improvements. Here it is:

#1. This one is kind of personal & I’m not ready to write about it here, not yet… but abstaining from a self destructive activity has to be my #1 priority so that is my #1.

#2. Blog again! Words here & art over there at BeesATC.

#3. To be more open & friendly towards other people.

#4. Finish mosaic guitar.

#5. Finish second/final draft of first book.

#6. Start first draft of second book.

#7. Make myself another 3-string slide cbg.

#8. Dollhouse Project (assemble/remodel kit).

#9. Finish macrame projects that were started so many years ago that it is a wonder the jute hasn’t rotted.

#10. Take better care of me.

#11. Write &/or make art every day.

#12. Reserved.

#13. Downsize again. I don’t know why yet, but I think I should go into 2014 with less stuff.

Okay, that is my list. Do you have a 13 for 2013 list? If so, best of luck to ya & thank you for reading my rambles!
